We’ve already reviewed Canon’s HF20, now lets take a look at the HF200. What’s the difference? The internal memory, and the price.
The HF200 does not have internal memory like the HF20. However, the HF200 is about $150 cheaper (based on Canon’s website prices).
I’ve pulled the two camcorders to compare:
The 200 is probably the better bet since you can find SDHD memory cards for under $100. (Usually around $70 and up) But, if you don’t want to deal with the hassle of the card, The HF20 would work just fine.
Both of the camcorders offer a lot of the same features as higher-end models, just at a cheaper price.
