Sanyo has a new Xacti, the HD800, and it’s apparently a great leap in video quality. An improved camera over their HD700 the HD800 will be able to shoot video in 720p widescreen and has an eight-megapixel camera.







The HD800 is said to have improved image sharpness and color accuracy as well as 3D noise reduction. The HD800 features a 5X zoom lenses as well as face detection and can be connected to your computer or HDTV via a USB or HDMI output.
An initial launch will see black, gold, and pink versions of the camera ship on August 22nd for the equivalent of $463
