JVC increases the numbers of Everio line releasing three HD camcorders. New technologies include new CMOS imaging chips with interpolation technology, the HD Gigabrid Duo chip and and 1920 x 1080/60P output for all camcorders via HDMI™.

The GZ-HD40 and GZ-HD30 are the first AVCHD/MPEG-2 dual-forat camcorders, offering 1920 x 1080 full HD recording to 120 GB or 80 GB of internal hard disk drive. The third model, the GZ-HD10, has 1440 x 1080 recording and a 40 GB drive. The GZ-HD40, seen here, has one of the highest recording times with up to 50 hours.

All three new JVC HD Everio HDD camcorder will be released in August. The GZ-HD40 has an MSRP of $1,299.95, the GZ-HD30 has an MSRP of $999.95 and the GZ-HD10 has a list price of $799.95.
